Iron Boy

An award-winning animated film which won the Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival, as well as three awards at the prestigious Annecy International Animation Film Festival. Ten-year-old Christophe lives with his family on a small farm and eagerly awaits the day when he will finally be able to drive a tractor and help his farmer father. But things don’t quite go his way: after a difficult year, the family falls into debt, and Christophe is diagnosed with a strange condition – he simply cannot stay upright. Refusing to give up, even when he has to wear an ugly and conspicuous metal brace, he begins to suspect that the contraption may have given him strange and extraordinary powers.
