Israel 2025 | 103 minutes | Hebrew | Subtitles in English
A father drives his soldier son to a remote military base, where he says goodbye and is immediately seized by a deep-seated anxiety, terrified he may never see his son again. The man, in his mid-fifties, plants himself near the camp’s fence, refusing to leave as if his unwavering presence could somehow shield his son.
His own life is at a standstill, too, forcing him to confront long-avoided decisions that will set his future back in motion. As he waits, a series of unexpected visitors appear, offering him solace, understanding, and even tangible gifts.
It’s a “road trip” movie in a parking lot, with an ending that was supposed to be much better.
