Cécile is about to fulfill her dream of opening a fine-dining restaurant in Paris when she receives the news that her father has suffered a heart attack. With no choice, she returns to her hometown in northeastern France, a world away from the life she has built in the big city. There she reconnects with her high-school sweetheart, overwhelmed by memories she thought she had left behind. French director Amélie Bonin has expanded her César-winning short film into a feature film. The result is a charming culinary musical starring singer Juliette Armanet, which was the opening film of the recent Cannes Film Festival.
